Appointments are available to book every weekday morning and afternoon, except on Thursdays when the practice is closed from 12:30 (Melrose) or 13:00 (Shiregreen). If your preference is for us to call you back please leave your details and you will be called back.
If the reception team are unable to accommodate your request for an appointment when you want it, they will ask a doctor or nurse to telephone you back to see if there is any other way that we can help. You should call before 10:30 for this service, unless it’s urgent and can’t wait until the next day.
We do not run a walk-in service, and all patients must book an appointment or telephone on the day if they wish to be seen here. Patients have the right to choose which doctor or nurse they want to see, and you do not have to see the doctor that you are registered with. Please be aware that if you do want to see someone particular, the wait for this appointment may be longer.
Most appointments are allocated 10 minutes, please ask in advance if you need to book a longer appointment.
Speaking to the Doctors and Nurses
Patients can request to speak to the Doctors and Nurses throughout the day. If you call before 10:30am, this is usually much easier to get a quick response for you, as you can speak to one of the “Morning Clinical Team”.
If they are unavailable, or your preference is for us to call you back, the Reception team will take your details and a message and you will be called back, but please do say if it is urgent.

Interpreters are available for most languages including sign language. Please ask at reception when booking your appointment if you need any specific help.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
